Life in Nay Pyi Taw

Dear blog!

I have been away from you again.
Yes I am currently staying at Nay Pyi Taw, the new capital city of Myanmar.
It is nice to explore a new place and learn about new people.
Everything is totally new for me.
But I met old friends here which was so fun.
Thanks God for that.
One thing I love the most about Nay Pyi Taw is electricity which we cant get full power supply in Yangon.
We get 24 hour electricity and all the roads are shining like stars at night.
For transportation, most of the roads within the territory of NCDC is smooth, wide and well-built.
All the roads were built with concrete so that car tires get thinner within a short period. It is bad!
One more thing I love is the forests!
There are small forests and hills inside the city.
The small hills are nicely landscaped with plants and small ponds.
So it is even more like a city of Shan State.
Later I hope Nay Pyi Taw will become beautiful city like Seoul, South Korea's capital city.
Environmental cleanness is strictly maintained in Nay Pyi Taw.
But still some people don't want to follow the rules and throw the mess on the roads.
We need to send more messages about these rules and reasons why should we follow to the citizens.
Transportation seems to be ok here.
We have buses, taxi and cycle taxi generally for public transportation.
But the fares are still expensive except the bus fares.
Its not easy to catch a taxi between one office another as the government offices are very far each other.
Cycle taxi are available at everywhere but it is not so safe to take these taxi from the view of security.
We should think more about the facts are concern of public transportation in Nay Pyi Taw.
For recreation, there are many places we can relax.
We have two big shopping malls, Capital and Junction Centre, in Nay Pyi Taw.
There is a big water fountain garden which is just 15 minutes walk from my home.
People from near villages enjoy these place mostly and some of them even said they have never been to such place in their life before.
For myself, I dont really enjoy going such places as I feel like these places are only for kids and elderly people.
Safari Park and Zoo are very far from downtown.
I even have been there only one time.
There are some interesting religious places which are recommended to go around Nay Pyi Taw.
I have been some of these places.
Later I will write about all the interesting experiences during my stay in Nay Pyi Taw.
Now I am training myself to be able to become a resilient person with all situations changing all the time.
I'm trying to enjoy myself with reading, doing house chores and business, travelling around the city and paying more time to my religious works especially at this boring time in Nay Pyi Taw.
Normally I enjoy noises of a city, car honks and love to see the crowds in markets and on the roads.
I hate being in quiet and calm places. haha.
Now I have learnt how to enjoy life and to get rid of my boredom in such boring and over quiet place.
Hummm I have no choice !!!
